Wadham's Song - 641st Season of the Ukulele

The Season 641 theme is songs with town names that are fun to say. I looked through a couple of books I got on a Newfoundland trip and found something that mentioned Fogo and the nearby village of Joe Batt's Arm. A Mr. Wadham wrote this rhyme in 1756 telling how to sail from Bonavista to Fogo without hitting any of the submerged rocks. I decided to go with a chord scheme that didn't sound like a song from 1756.
This video was made for the Seasons of the Ukulele on the Ukulele Underground user forum. The Seasons are weekly themed challenges that are a cross between a contest, an open mic, and sitting on the porch swapping songs with your friends. Since I made the video, I've had "Elmo's Song" running through my head: "Doo doo da-doo, doo doo da-doo, Wadham's Song He took the soundings, he wrote the words That's Wadham's Song!"
