thanks helped me decide to size up, and btw they're boa laces, no "L" in there lol. The boa system has been used for many years in snowboard boots and the laces and mechanism have a lifetime warranty. If the laces or the mechanism ever fail, contact boa and they'll ship you new parts 👍

Thank you, nicely presented. The main differences you emphasize are stability and warmth. Do you suspect either is superior in terms of durability? Drying time? Anything else? Is the warmth difference so great it couldn't be offset with a layer of socks? Thanks again, a rare useful, independent KZbin review! I've read complaints about BOA jamming when used in salty or sandy water. While anyone finding this a surprise would have been shocked by the ending to Rocky IV, it might be worth mentioning that reservation for those might fish in such conditions.

Thanks! I own pair of Dark Horse, but want a second pair for my kid to use and I’m debating on if I should get the Devil Canyon as alternates.. this will help me, they’re not cheap ! I’ve heard mixed reviews on the other model that opens in the back, that it’s difficult to walk in them…

I just got the dark horse. I'm a surf fisherman you have to rinse right after saltwater use.

Good -- the BOA system will jam with neglect from what I've read.

Those studded cleats in the salmon river had my back, hips and knee’s killing me. I barely made it back to the car. Terrible

You should also have a pair of felts specifically for the Delaware. So you don’t trot Didymo into the other rivers. Saying you have had them for 2 years doesn’t give us much info. how many trips have you put on them? And you’re spreading out the wear over 2 pairs of boots.

My darkhorse ripped after 8 months. I rinse them off after every trip. I submitted a warranty claim and Korkers never replied

"Volume" You need a wearable Microphone if you want to do video's brother. I have the volume on my laptop jacked and straining .....bummer. When i get near my ear buds ill go again. Just Sayin.....Much Love
