Wading the flats to find TAILING Reds in Steinhatchee!

I went wading the flats of Steinhatchee in search of some Redfish. I had to resort to wading, because the wind pushed a ton of water off the flats and my boat couldn't get to where I could see the fish. I got a lot of cool footage of tailing Redfish on the flats, and caught my first two ever Redfish while wading.

Haha I'm glad you noticed that! I was stuck pretty good and doing everything I could to not dunk all my gear and to my surprise there was a Red gobbling on my lure!

Sweeet! Nice redfeesh. Sure is fun chasing them while they’re chasing bait when the tide is rolling like that. Way to read the conditions adapt and overcome 🤙🏼

One of my favorite trips to date! Nothing like getting in the water with them to become "ONE" with the Redfish.
