Consider how hard it is to get an officer fired? It must be so egregious that the department cannot defend the cops actions. If it’s that blatant, why are charges so slow? If the cop did wrong to the extent that he can be fired, then it stands to reason that the ‘wrong’ is also Criminal. It reeks of coverup and Thin Blue Line Gang privilege. *I also am skeptical when departments fire cops. I believe there’s closed door conversations along the lines of; ‘You got caught, we can’t make it go away. So for that reason , but mostly to appease public outcry, we have to fire you. But… do not worry, we’ve submitted a reference letter to another agency. That other agency has agreed to hire you.’ (Because the different agencies simply ‘trade’ their bad problematic cops.) *There was a great investigation into a suspended cop. The cops actions were so offensive that he had to be disciplined. But…. The chief that gave the cop the 7day suspension also allowed the cop to serve the suspension at 1day/week. So a 7 day suspension took 7 weeks to fulfill. Made worse by the chief allowing the cop to serve 1 suspension day/week out of the cops ‘regular’ 50 hr pay week, but allowed the cop to ‘pickup’ an extra weekend shift/week. Regular week: 5 days @ 10hrs = 50 hrs. On suspension: 4 days @ 10hrs=40hrs + 1 day @ weekend 12 hrs at Overtime! So the cop actually earned more pay while serving his suspension!

As for the police, they had absolutely no reason to be on that man's property what-so-ever. Repossessions are 100% a civil matter and they are not allowed to involve themselves in a civil matter.
