I have acquaintanced with "Waffenruhe" music in summer 2017. Subsequent fall was one of the best in my life, and it amusingly associated with "Demagogie II" because the previous cover of this track (where was a man in censored uniform before the microphone) was made in yellow and brown tones, like fall of the leaf in autumn. These period of time and track have a great sentimental significance for me. Ironically, that Soldat D. (Dennis Schneider), the composer of "Waffenruhe" commited suicide in September, 2017, and I found this information just in summer 2018. There were few messages and necrologues dedicated to him. Sic transit gloria mundi...

I have the album cover you mentioned in mind, and the choice of this image was not very wise, but it does not matter now! For professional reasons, I learned of his death even later than you, I think it was in 2019. May he and his family have found peace and comfort, Amen.

@@tankobrawler163 And as far as I know, Dennis was a man of radical right political views. So, he reflected it in a certain manner in his music. I definetely don't hold such position but there was an interest mix of melancholy and nationalism in mentionned melodies, and that's why that album cover was really relevant. Curious in connection with similar patterns in more early german history... Albeit, no doubts, KZbin prohibits such things.

I always find it difficult to make a final judgment about someone I've never met in person, but you obviously got Dennis message! Anyway, I don't like all his lyrics either, and I don't upload many of his tracks because I don't approve of the messages they contain and don't want to pass them on. It's the legacy of a man who struggled with life and the existing conditions in his homeland, and you can hear that in many of his tracks, but you don't have to like it!

@@tankobrawler163 Do you know in which city and where he is buried? I hope I will soon move to Germany and someday visit his grave...

I don't know, and if I did, I wouldn't reveal the location of his final resting place in the comments section of a KZbin video.
