What’s the PERFECT time to leave a Stroopwafel over a hot drink?
I will find out via a Waffle Detection System in the first video of my Netherlands series! 🧇
I tested it using Coffee, Chai, Latte, Yerbe Matte and Tea to find the efficient time for each beverage.

Great video! My go-to Stroopwafle combination is a Latte (creamy and milky) and thanks to this video I now know the perfect timing to leave my waffle on top of my Latte 💛

I think a temp prob should have been included, so the timing would have been a function of the temp of the beverage.

@@EamonMagd you know those long thin digital kitchen thermometers for meat and such? You could hack it so it both act as a prob, and as a support (so the metal shaft is dipped in the drink, it both manages the temp and keeps the computational device above the liquid and in one contained package. You do some tests and when you discover the optimal temp/time, it beeps. Best of luck with your project, I really like what you did.

Can you explain the need of the camera? It seems like this is just a function of time and temp and could be done with just the temp sensor, no?

Thanks for the question! The camera measures the movement and helped with the initial tests when the waffle was too floppy after 2 minutes. The linear regression model used the combination of temperature, floppiness and taste rating based of my tests to give the final answer :) just temp and time can be an easier way if needed but I like to over engineer things haha
