WAGA-TV: Leukemia survivor meets Georgia stem cell donor for first time at Gift of Life Atlanta Gala

Leukemia survivor Marquis Williams met his blood stem cell donor Catherine "Renee" Smith at the Gift of Life One Huge Night Atlanta Gala held at Sonesta Gwinnett Place Atlanta on June 24, 2024. Smith, a resident of Falls Park, Ga., joined the registry in 2017 at a donor drive held at McKesson Pharmaceutical, where she worked at the time.
