One of the things I love about this band is that even with as many instruments as they have, everyone gets their own solo at some point, and they all sound great, not just random and out of place.
@lordnehmi58903 жыл бұрын
In my opinion the truly beautiful thing is that they make it flow and somehow all the transitions between their solos/main melodic instrument, songs etc just flow seamlessly. even when they switch keys and modes they make it so damn seamless. whoever writes and makes those arrangements for their performances is a genius arranger. and of course how each individual adjust their playing according to the feel and demand of the music is just as impressive.
@PROJECTamateur3 жыл бұрын
Yeah. I agree. The arrangements work like clockwork: Precise in place.

@@lordnehmi5890 Guitarist Machiya does the arrangements and does a magnificent job. He was the one who wrote the arrangement for Bring Me To Life at the 2nd Live Symphonic Night at Osaka-Jo Hall, with Amy Lee. Yuko has said on several occasions that she trusts Machiya implicitly with the arrangements. Prior to WGB he had his own career and was very successful, but him joining WGB was a match made in heaven. He's also a top-notch composer and lyricist.

Type O Negative reminds me of another band that can't be defined in one category. Sure Type O is a whole different ball of wax. It's not fair to compare Type O to Wagakki Band, as both bands appeal to two different audiences. The only similarities is that they get grouped into a certain musical genre unfairly, when their stylings are much harder to peg down to just one genre.

There are many bands actually do play really, really good but don't have the versatility or the unique vocal - the singer is not present in this particular video but usually sings in the distinctive style and voice. It looks like all the players are having a blast here.
