This reminds me of trigger bounce boards in paintball in the early 2000's. People will always try to ride the edge of what is allowed. I get it I modded my m60 to run 3x the stock rate of fire and got banned from alot of fields. Nevermind that I did my mods and ate the cost of broken pistons, springs, and gears almost every time I went out. That and the only rule at the time was full auto only on support weapons. The rules did not specify that you couldn't make your support weapon into a fire hose.

My dad has gone through this situation where a ref walked up to him during a cqb match because even though he shot semi it looked like he was full auto because the gun shoots fast and sometimes the gun would randomly cycle 2 bbs instead of one so it looked a lot like full auto

I have a Poseidon punisher which in my opinion has one of the most sensitive triggers I’ve ever used. First time I finally took it out to the field I had been practicing shooting it for about a week. So obviously I knew how to use that trigger now. Anyways not even like 2 minutes into the game and the ref Jerry comes over to me telling me to turn off full auto. When he showed him I was shooting in semi he gave a face of either impressiveness or fear😂
