Scolding kids is never the solution! In this case Atharva is not misbehaving. He is exerting his identity and sense of self. He challenges his parents because he is comfortable with them and loves them.

@@Muraddharani i agree with you. But he crosses his limits. He has insulted Dakshesh twice on him not having any kids and Rajesh doesn't even tell him anything. This doesn't make sense at all. Hamare yaha agar hum bache esi koi badtameezi kare toh we would get scolded or punished. By punished I don't mean they should hit him. They should ground him or tell him to do a task like cleaning the house or something.
