I love his description of acting on the body during intense scenes. Amazing how they all agreed and I never thought of that. Can completely understand Heath Ledgers take on his body playing the Joker. Not something the average viewer can grasp.

Not hating on Wagner or anything (actually I think he did an amazing job) but Spanish and Portuguese are not that different. In the first episodes you can tell he was brazilian but you can notice his accent fading away as the season was approaching the end.

I felt like he was still in character of Pablo here, this dude should have won some awards-I know he nominated-and not sure up against who, have to check that out-out of curiosity but, it was a chilling portrayal of Pablo Escobar. I root for the bad guys, but he made you understand and justify the horrors committed by him. But no doubt about it, he was ruthless. But he was also a genius.

I was born and raised in Brazil, BUT moved to the USA when I was 12 back in 2003. Wagner Moura was not that popular back in 2003, and I was also not allowed to watch that much TV back then. Lots of reasons why I don't know much about him, being a hermit and being half raised somewhere else are the main culprits.

They don't put him as a hero in the show. They show him as a cruel and merciless killer, but also show that he had a family and cared for them. This is not manipulation, it's the truth. I think the show was really clear to leave the viewer to judge if he was a bad person or not. Personally, I think he deserved to die.
