I cry extremely bad when I hear this song. This was my step dads favorite song. He died of hernia. He couldn’t make it to the hospital in time. He passed away. I loved him so much. He made my mother so happy. We all loved him. But then he passed and my actual dad came crawling back. Unfortunately she accepted him back. Now she’s pissed almost everyday and always stressed. I miss you bert. Rip. (Edit: thank you to everyone who acknowledged my comment y’all are amazing ❤️ and also, to the ones who have listened to this song because of their lost loved ones, my condolences go out to y’all 🙏)

I remember dancing with my dad when I was younger to this song during a rodeo he took me to. It's still one of the best memories I have and I will keep it close to my heart forever💖

I’m a proud north carolinian (: I was listening to Tim McGraw and this song came on after and I almost cried in science class. This reminds me of my mom (: she didn’t die or anything, but I just love her so much.

Not a big country fan, but this is one of the country songs I just love. So catchy, love the melody and you can just feel the emotion in it. Thank you Darius Rucker for this masterpiece.

I just smiled through the whole song. Not bad for this time in History, during a Global Pandemic! What a Gifted Spiritual Singer Darius is and what a Beautiful Humanitarian-Musical-Tune.🎶 PeaceOut from Canada.🎸 🇨🇦✌️❤️

I remember being a small lil kid, listening to this song everyday before school. I randomly ran across this, and I'm so glad I did. Never in my life did I think this song would have such an impact on me.

I went to the Daytona 500 this year and my most vivid memory of it is Darius Rucker playing this song pre race. I didn’t stay for the second day after it got rained out so this is the most vivid memory I have of the whole thing. The whole speedway singing song with him, rockin back and forth, magic.
