Conversion cost is higher because of battery. If the cost of batteries comes down in near future then the conversion cost will be comparingly low. Sir I have an eye on this startup since 2018 November and its first ARAI certified conversion company in India. But they are converting cars of fleet operators only. Private car owners can't convert their cars and only a handful models of cars can be converted.

City transportation was under semigovernment corporations during those days. It was nice experience to travel in that vehicle. It was quite powerful bus even if heavily loaded.

Nice video sir... But ek baat hai ki agar koi company electric vehicle banaye to uska cost kamse kam rakhne ki koshish kare like 5-6 lakh. Because this is going to be the first time in India for EVs... Yahan pe companies need to understand that if a middle class man is purchasing a vehicle burning on his savings he wants more reliable car for himself. If the cost of these cars are low but the same reliability as in engine cars he will buy one... But still if the EVs cost more than 8 lakhs with short rang as 100kms than he will prefer cars like ford freestyle or i20 which are more reliable and value for money..... So these evs should cost low so that everyone can afford it and atleast try it buying and use it for daily purpose for one time sake😊

exactly sahi bole ho. baat hota hai battery range jitna chahiye utna better capacity ka battery v lagwana hota hai. problem hota hai battery ka kimat me. 1 side mein lead acid ka kam kimat k saath bura battery life deta hai , aur dusra side pe lithium battery ata hai jo chalta hai 5-8 years tak aur uska kimat v bahut zyada hai. humko lagta hai ki battery gari ko zyada istemaal zoomcar jaise self drive rental service me lagwana chahiye taki 1 app k zariye apko 1 time car miley kam kimat me. aap chaho to 1 mahine ka paise dekar gari istemaal kar sakte ho, par wo v car leasing se cheap aur zyada faide k sath aate hai

it is absolutely legal sir. In Kolkata there is no place for EV conversion, but there is one in Navi Mumbai, GoGoA1. Check out their youtube channel and they can sell you a kit and install the same. If the conversion needs to be done because you have an engine whose repair is not economic, GoGoA1 has online purchase option for 3000, 6000 and 8000 W kits, where there are 2 motors supplied so you have 6, 12 and 16 kW sets available. However battery is on YOU. You decide how much range you need and accordingly fit batteries.
