It takes me 20 minutes to zero gap each one of my clippers. Loosen it up, line it and tighten it down... then it shifts. It's like rinse and repeat until you get it right. My eyes get tired from looking at the teeth the whole time. "If you don't do it right? It'll bite."

Hey bro, I zero gapped the Wahl Detailer. The blades are dead staight when it is switched off, but when I switch the Wahl on and then off I noticed the teeth get crooked and are misaligned. Do I need to tighten the screw on the outside, or the inside please? Bless up

Only your pockets can tell you if it's "worth it" to drop that money on another expensive trimmer, but IMO if you're happy with the way the FX is cutting then roll with it until it breaks or you want a change. There are so many great tools on the market and nobody NEEDS them all, IMHO.

This not the best method of zero gapping clippers. This the old school method and the blade is never truly level. Better off copping the wahl blade setting too for 10$
