Hi Bro...If the seller was Cloudtail you have the genuine item. And even post receiving it when you open it you can see by quality that it's gunuine or not. In my case I have called Amazon before ordering this and crossed check with them about the genuine status and return policy. they said clearly its genuine and in case you found any issue you can return. When I got I checked it and all seems good.

Hi Bro... don't worry about its life. Its an asset material and work absolutely fine for a long time for you. 4724 is having small motor and lower blade quality. But its also good. My suggestion is if your looking for hair trimming don't buy that. Hair cutting need this one. Anyway you need a scissor as well for salon like cut.
