I also believe that the 1919 is a much better machine than the Andis Cordless Master - I can say that because I own both. So this mod improves both Clippers and turns the new machine much better than the previous and even almost as good as an original corded Andis Master.

Just modified mine today. Wow! Not much wiggle room at all. Didn’t want to jack it up so checked and moved my original marks over. Glad I did. Also I triple checked before drilling. Can’t wait to get back to the shop to put these back to work. Thanks for this video!

With the oster fast feeds, after fading to the open taper, can you go in with the #1 open and fade down then take out the line with the 1/16 guard open if needed? I’ve only seen you fade this way with wahl clippers so far. Love the videos btw man!

Thanks for the tutorial, I just subscribed! I am not a barber, but i self cut and have been doing it for many years. Ive been an Andis guy the whole time but my hand has been cramping while fading the back of my head. This is obviously the weight of the Masters and maybe me getting old. @@samialamienyes sir! of course I have it. it's good tool, but I don't think it will give you the power that you need in a clipper for obvious reasons. If You're starting as a barber you might need more time for details in the blend and I personally think corded clippers are better for starting, cause you can focus 100 percent on the haircut, and by the time you get ready to have you cordless, you will feel the difference. And trust me, that is an experience that as a pro, you won't want to lose. If you want to go cordless anyways, my recommendation is, bring the magic clipper back and buy a senior's or 1919 Wahl you will be investing your money wisely thinking about the future! Unless you have the black or metal magic clipper. The red one is the one I have is good to fade but it has no power with longer hair. So I'll say seniors or Andy's Masters! God bless you....keep it on! ....

I don't know if it's a weaker machine given that it's about the half the price or if price difference is due to the fact that it's cordless.. but I think I'm gonna keep it for a while. They told me that the Wahl magic clips the Wahl seniors have the same exact motor and parts 🤔 I couldn't understand that because clearly you can see that the Wahl seniors have more power and how they cut better

The blade from the 1919 is just a standard taper blade, man. Wahl got you fooled. 1919 is a Cordless Senior with an all metal body with a taper blade, fool. Lol!

Yo ed what fading techniques would you recommend to someone trying to cut their own hair? i've been having some trouble blending around the parietal ridge, trying to cut a textured quiff . Good video, have you tried the andis pro alloy and pro alloy fade blades? There taper blade are pretty much like master blade n the fade blade is like a fade master blade. They fit right on the wahl bracket with no modification.

No you would have to modify them like you would to fit a wahl just not as much bc they are larger blades than wahl. The single magnetic fit perfectly tho.

isaac88ig yea, that’s what I thought. Nobody seems to like the single magnetic Andis guards, so this mod isn’t necessarily about having any Andis blade on a Wahl clipper, but being able to use the double magnetic Andis guards on a strong cordless clipper.

I understood everything, but you’re wrong with the dementions, no such thing as a 8/32nds only 7/32 and 9/32 Plus thats way bigger than 1/8, If you want to be slightly smaller than an 8th inch drill bit, id use 3/32 bit if you want to be slightly bigger than an 8th you drill with 5/32 Oh and btw 8/32 would be a hole equal to 4/16 which is 1/4 drill bit thats fucking huge!! Lol
