Video covers how to use diagnostic mode and error code mode on a binary display (newer style) GE washing machine. Diagnostic mode is very helpful in that it allows you to manually test all important components. Error code mode is useful in that it allows you to look up stored faults. Great video! I have the GTW680 top load. The spin cycle has gone into hyper-mode! It spins so fast it seems like it's about to take off! Does this regardless of spin setting? Error codes were 3, 5, 8, 26 and 27 which I don't think apply. The bearings are quiet and the drum turns smoothly by hand. Have you ever seen this before? I subscribed to your channel, it's excellent.

I have a problem with mine. The agitator doesn’t spin when it starts to wash in the beginning it just grinds really loud. Do you know what it can be?

hi ,can you help me with a G E wsher it doesnt spin fast ,but if i go manually it does ,if i go to drain and spin when it gets to 6 minutes jumps to 37 without spinning fast

I have a washer GTW810SSJ1WS. I can't figure out how to get it to diagnostic mode. It runs halfway through the cycle then starts making an electrical clicking noise. Also I appreciate your videos I have learned a lot of different things from them.

Update, I got into the diagnostic mode but still can't figure out the problem. It works fine filling and agitating then when it goes to spin cycle it stops and makes a clicking noise for a few min until it shuts off. Could it be the actuator?

What happens if I accidentally reseted the error codes while trying all the features? Is there a way to retrieve them?

Mine shoots out small amounts of water then says "end" and turns off completely, and the lid stays locked until I mess with it then it unlocks at certain times

I tried to run the diagnostic but it will not go into it, If I press the power button everything will start blinking, might you have any suggestions?

my GE is making a Beeping noise every button i press on it and wont start at all, while all the lights are on the model is GTW680BSJ5WS , any suggestions why

Where did you find the error codes for the GTW top load washer, as well as, the diagnostic "test" positions of the dial (ie, test the hot water valve, or test the sprayers, etc)? A website would be very helpful if you could reveal where we can view and or download this information.
