Huge amount of respect for showing us the down the scope view, i did this on the biggest 7 point ive ever seen in selma alabama, long story short i got yellt at by papa for being a bird watcher instead of a shooter. Huge respect for letting those big 8’s walk in your last hunts too. Wow just an amazing film job by you Erin. This video gave me lots of nostalgia from all the whispering, head bobbing around more than you should to look around, and when i seen you pulling that trigger so slow that the gun scares you… goosebumps! What an adventure

The way you feel about making it into the woods and it makes you feel a certain way. Being all i see is the woods(located in southern Illinois) i feel the same way every time i make it down your way. I like the change up. I am a hunter much more than a fisherman. Central Texas doesn’t have any saltwater. Lucky on both accounts though that I can do it all with a 4 hour drive. In different directions.

Yea Aaron I was always wondering why you never fish for Wahoo with rod n reel. Thats my preferred method for them. I have prob caught over 50-60 in my lifetime but always with rod n reel. I know you like spearfishing more than conventional fishing but its so much more fun for me to pursue these fish the old fashioned way. Anyway its completely different as you know. Nice kill! That is a gentleman's hunt! Nice accurate rifle, fancy blind, warm season, nice club house. After 40 yrs of hunting I am getting soft, but spent many decades scouting ( no cameras ) sitting in tree stands before hi tech clothing and freezing my ass off. Shooting 12 ga slugs, pre rifled barrels and hand dragging deer in deep iowa snow. Next year kill with a compound bow!
