An absolute shame how it took this long for a Native American song to receive an Oscar nomination.
@samuelbarber61774 ай бұрын
And the actual award goes to someone who’d already won, fairly recently as well. Which kind of sums up this movie’s reception at the Oscars in general.

Why, exactly, is it necessary to crap on Billie and Ryan? If an Eilish fan did that to this performance you'd probably freak out and call them a racist, but it's totally different when YOU do it, right? You know, if you can't say anything nice... But that expression only applies to people with some class, smh.
@mysteryperson19762 ай бұрын
They had it posted, but it must have been removed. The Oscars official page also removed Gosling and Eilish. Gosling's performance is officially posted from the record label, and Eilish's performance is officially posted by her.

Probably because of the length. Everyone complained about the length. This might be a sign to bring intermissions back into movies. Ben Hur and Gone With the Wind were longer and won Oscars, but they also had intermissions

You can see Lupita Nyong'o right behind Lilly also use ululation after the performance. That is so cool.

I didn't and don't watch the Oscars anymore. I don't need to see who's dress the actresses wear, who they showed up with, who got punched in the face...probably not the Oscars where that happened, but it proves my point...who cares? This, one single event, I would have watched, makes me sad I missed that moment. You can feel the pain and suffering in the song, and it stands on its own honesty, raw pain, anger and sorrow. The sad thing is they still making money off the Osage Tribe with this movie. Only thing better in my mind would have been to take the drum and walk off the stage without acknowledging the crowd.
