Hey Indeimaus you know that the game has a secret second ending if u save all those "people from the past" you let turn to stone. You gotta collect all their memory fragments in the areas before the boss fight and you get an option to save them at the end of the fight.

I mean it probably was before they added the io clones before the bosses to nudge you into fixing memories. So without them you would just go into bossfight (because how often do you really go to homebase? What is this ds 2/3 when you can't go have a piss outside firelink?) and get the bad ending. At least i think they added those npc later because i do not see how anyone would miss fixing bosses otherwise.

Nah that's neutral ending, he restored at the very least Aurora since you can see Isis in his codes, in the bad ending, you turn into the queen and are promptly killed, and Louis becomes the successor of the brain, while yakumo and mia take emily and nicola's spots, and jack takes eva's spot as well, even though he already was the sucessor of the eye
