Hawaii is really a holiday destination. Most Americans would like to go there for the sun and blue water beaches. It’s just expensive and we’re talking in real dollar prices that you really have to save for your plan vacation there. Hope you can show us the beautiful places in Waikiki. There’s the famous volcano 🌋 visitors go and explore

Wow yoyu have a white tshirt this time! What airline did you fly on from MNL-HNL? Philippine Airlines has nonstop 6x/week 10 hours long, or the cheapest flights are mostly on Korean Airlines via ICN.
@samquinn6427Ай бұрын
$200 for a Luau? Wow what the World coming to? I remember paying an extra $59 - 10 years ago as part off a tour package we got through Costco. The Luau was actually on the beach and they pulled a large pig out of the ground that was buried under the sand with hot coals. The stage show was long and large with the ocean as it's back drop and everyone got one free HI type drink. I understand prices have gone up but a parking lot style buffet with precooked cafe food from the hotel is crazy high at $200. This seemed like a tourist trap but if you enjoyed then that all that matters.
@alall885Ай бұрын
Same . Paid $70 - 80 i think for the polynesian cultural center luau pre pandemic. Went back 2022 and the cheapest I could find was $180.

You should have dipped the kalua pig into that paste instead of your bread. It’s called poi. Also, butter mochi is what they call bibinka in Hawaii , which is popular around Xmas in the Philippines. If you’re willing to venture from wakiwaki, go and try Helena’s for Hawaiian food. Won’t cost 200. But glad you enjoyed yourself. I miss the islands, even wakiwaki.

It is so crazy to me that people pay almost $200 to sit in plastic chairs and tables and then line up like cattle for food, all while some wedding band plays "Hawaiin music" while rattling off some random facts about the culture and call it a Luau.

There are many ethnic groups in Hawaii and it's surprising to know that Filipinos are 2nd in ranking in terms median income, next only to the Japanese. Higher than the White, Chinese, native Hawaiian and Hispanic. (This was based on Census data of 2019). Congratulations Filipinos in Hawaii. 😊

Im excited to see you do more of America, since the elections are 2 months away, you will probably have a lot of tours in American cities and you seem much more relaxed and open when youre back in the states. Maybe do a supermarket prices tour and comparing to Asia. food prices in the states and europe are so much higher than east asia.. its absurd.

Did you say there was $30 a night resort fee at an Air b&B??!? That is ridiculous. Resorts have tennis courts, private beaches, restaurants etc. Houses are not resorts. Just another stupid tax for tourists that are putting people off going there.

With 200$ and over per night and food prices Hawaii is a destination for the rich. It looks very beautiful however it should have been a public transport state instead of relying on private cars. how much nicer would it be without being an ordinary american car-centric city?

Manila should learn from Hawaii as to how they should develop the beach at Roxas Blvd or the Dolomite beach. 😊

Boracay itself! With all the trong of tourists visiting and the environmental fees, they could have developed a good descent sidewalk for people to stroll. The Stations should have a beach walk way like a boardwalk either wooden, bricks or cement.

Now Harris wants anyone to vote without an ID. And Harris wants more men who thinks they are women into my little girl's bathrooms? That's insane. Put America first ! Trump 2024
