I love Waikiki!!! Got my aloha shirt. Got my 501's. Got my Doc Martens. Strolling down Kalakaua looking for a place for poo poo's and a local brewed amber beer. Because I just got paid and got me a pocket full of change. Mahalo John!

@@Saifull1991 All the high-rises. The International Marketplace used to be all outdoors, not cement buildings. Kalakua Avenue used to have Hawaiian music playing.🤙

Even though it's crowded again, Waikiki seems ro have a different vibe. I'm not sure exactly why or how, but when we were there a few weeks back visiting for the first time in 3 years, it was definitely noticeable. The quality of visitors and tourists has definitely gone down, luckily we were staying near family further west. Has anyone else noticed this particular feel to Waikiki lately?
