I've mentioned to you before that when i was there in '15 my friend and i walked from the Hilton Hawaiian Village Lagoon fown ti Fort Del Russy beach and back again ..one of the most, if not THE most beautiful wslks ive ever taken...and even now ..nine years later, a couple pounds heavier and more knee/back/foot problems....id STILL do it all over again! Mahalo for your videos....they keep my memories alive!

You are our source for info. We were there jan2024 to feb. Coming again in Jan 2025. Our favorite walk is to barefoot beach Cafe to Fort derussey Park. Hidden at the military hotel next to Fort deussey Park is a beautiful convience store eatery cafe you should cover. Good prices. We found it the last day we were there last Jan. Once again your awesome and if we see you walking around will buy you lunch for your work. Staying at Mariot resort and spa.

I was there a couple of weeks ago and did that same morning walk but from the other end and back to my hotel on Beach Walk. I also added the little harbor parking lot at Rockpiles mainly to check out the surf at all points between. I did do that walk one afternoon but all the way in the wet sand on the water line so I could periodically dive in to the water to cool off. Oh and that walk jetty at the end of this video in front of the Steak Shack is a Great place to observe Honu (sea turtles) as they swim around foraging for their food. I was out there every day and each time there were anywhere from a couple to a whole family of turtles. Magical. I agree, it's the best morning walk in Waikiki.

Haha right!? Such a beautiful walk. Those are Reef brand. I love them. I used to wear Rainbow sandals which were so comfy once you broke them in... but when the leather got wet with saltwater, it started cracking & were not comfy at all. The Reef brand are grippy too so even when your feet/sandals get wet, you don't slip.

December/January is our "winter" season and is the rainier time. But, on the bright side - there's also the North Shore big wave surf competitions and when it rains, the green on the island is so vibrant! 🌺 I remember seeing Diamond Head crater after a heavy rain and it was such a vibrant green
