Yeah, I know. I lost a lot too. I went from a size 22 to 16, 240 lbs to 180. But I had to do it because of the things going on in my family and I was being put in a place of having no place to live and having to deny Christ, so I had to fast.

This is true. I've been on intermittent fasting for the last 30 years of my life and I've always maintained my figure. I wasn't following any diets or advice from anyone. I just figured out that when I ate breakfast, it made me hungry all day, so I just cut out breakfast and started taking a late lunch, and then a light snack for supper a few hours later. Then nothing for the next 16 to 18 hours. I'm so used to it that I never feel hungry until it's my lunch hour, around 2-3pm. It works.

Wow I'm so glad I clicked on this video. I need this book. As a believer in God and being obese for majority of my 20s I'm so ready to change the way I look and feel and my eating habits. I was always slim but when I hit my 20s I started picking up weight. Had a son in 2017 and I'm currently at my heaviest which is 280. And I will be 30 4/24/2020, really want to live the rest of my life slim, and healthy I've tried IF a few times but never stay consistent. But I'm going to just do it this time and pray for consistency. I will be done eating at 7pm or 8pm tonight. Please pray for me.

I did not become obese until gradually at going on 28. I had my son at 27. I used to have this killer metabolism before I had my only child. I had my Sugar Bug 20.5 years ago. I got down to 130 6 weeks after his birth, lowest, 124. Then soon after, I got to 150 and stabilized. Then at the 3-0, stabilized at lower 160s. Then at 32, stabilized at around 175. Then more pounds. I reached my heaviest at 37, which was 205. I did lose 75 pounds by age 38, then something happened and regained. 150 at going on 39. At the 4-0 or 41, back to my heaviest. Around this time in 2020 or 21, I began a thing with myself where I would train myself to eat less. Instead of two Lean Cuisine, I ate one for example. Some months later, I gotten to either it was the burger or the fries. My capacity became very limited, but sometimes accidentally forget I cannot eat like I used to and I would get full faster. Late last year, been floating in the 180s. The last couple weeks, in the lower half of 180s. I then realize part of the culprit is I need to go to the washroom more ( won't get specific as I am very squeamish ). Last month I found out by accident visiting my son at my ex-boyfriend's ( his dad ) that cranberry juice would help with that. I found out by drinking it. I since almost every day at some point have up to 32 Oz cranberry juice. In the recent year I been wishing for protein drinks, but in my late 20s, I saw it makes me balloon. I tried it after hearing someone losing weight on it ( the person is naturally skinny ). Well, I had Smoothie King year before last as my son treated me. I gotten the Slim & Fit ( or maybe it was Slim & Trim ) as it has chocolate and bananas. I forgot if also PB or if I requested it. Last August or September, I bought Snoothie King. Then, I decided to buy powder and got it for cheap at Walmart's to have at home since I cannot habitually do Smoothie King ( just as well. For $20 to $25, I get 10 or so servings as opposed to just two at Smoothie King ). One day, it became different. I noticed I not want to eat after the protein smoothie for hours. And also, I am not ballooning from it. ( I get the low fat low carb. I get whey and also plant based ). So now, it is part of my routine some days instead of breakfast. I started off with OJ since I cannot have any kind of drinking milk, not even lactose free variety. I tried apple juice a couple times, not my thing for protein powder, last couple times, had with cranberry juice. I gotten a gym membership 12 months ago and do light weight training with the weight machines. I am now going to add a half hour cardio weight training, and on days of no going to gym, get myself to do chair cardio. And try to see how I can incorporate plenty of water without acid reflux going crazy. I hardly drink any liquids because of it, but my blood is starting to clot ( not dangerous right now, but heard dehydration can be a cause ).Also, on how I can do that without liquid weight gain. My goal is 110 or 105. I do not want to settle for higher end or mid range. I want to go lowest end. I want to give myself a present for my 49th next year, and that all my weight be gone. I actually should be able to before end of year since talking 70 to 75 pounds left. Would like to try the windows thing. I am usually up by 11, so maybe try 11 to 6. Through this vid I now have a much better understanding of IF.

Daniel didn't go on a fast in Daniel 1. Most people use that chapter to say he fasted and that's not true. Daniel ate the way God told us to originally eat. What Daniel did was he asked Melzar the eunuch to compare their bodies after 10 days to see if they looked better than those who ate the king's portions. Please, please, please, read it and teach people the truth. We are not telling this story the correct way in regards to Dan. 1:8-21.

I'm glad this is becoming common knowledge. I was a 'thin eater' when I was in my 20s and people practically tried to have me committed! I was just listening to my body. If I wasn't hungry, I didn't eat. Simple. But people kept saying to me, "You HAVE to eat three meals a day." I knew that wasn't true because I was totally healthy and I felt great. People get really stuck in their belief systems though.

I’ve been doing intermittent fasting for real for a month or so after I looked into what it really was and how to do as I was basically juice/intermittent fasting for past year etc . I went from 252 to under 200 lbs now!! Going for 180s at least . But these last months I actually learned what true intermittent fasting is which is basically lengthening the overnight fast and skipping breakfast and possibly lunch and not having ANY calories or sugar whatsoever , I even try to avoid diet soda (which is a grey area) until I break fast after 16-20 hours for me anyhow ! So my true intermittent fasting has helped me break that plateau I was on where I was at 215 for months , now down to around 197!! It does get a little harder the closer you get to your ideal weight whatever that is ( 18-20% BMI or less) . I’m shooting for at least 180-185, maybe eventually 170-175! At around 5’9” that’s about the most I should be even with muscularity ! Speaking of the Bible in Ecclesiastes it says : 2 is better than 1, and a 3 fold chord is not easily broken. So the 3 fold chord in losing weight or fitness is fasting , exercise and diet! In other words when you eat or how often, what you do (activity/exercise) when your not eating , and what you eat and how much ( diet) . If you get all three down good success is guaranteed I think in time !

The body does heal and it also consumes dead or damaged cells during fasting. It is called autophagy. Japanese cell biologist Yoshinori Ohsumi won the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 2016 for his research on how cells recycle and renew their content, a process called autophagy. Fasting activates autophagy, which helps slow down the aging process and has a positive impact on cell renewal. During fasting (period of time when zero calories are consumed), cells break down proteins and other cell components and use them for energy. Hi Ms. Martin, My regular routine is, I eat at around 12-1 pm for my only meal and then fast until the same time the next day. I eat half a tub of Spring mix leafy green veggies, then an hour later I eat 4 scrambled eggs, 6 strips of bacon, then I chop up about 6-8 brussel sprouts, 1/2 cup of mushrooms and about 6 asparagus stocks and fry them in the leftover bacon fat. The spring mix I blend in a blender with water because I hate veggies so it's easier for me to drink them. I am a creature of habit so it's no problem for me to eat the same thing everyday. Hope that helps :-) God Bless you!

When the disciples couldn't heal some people they asked Jesus why they could not heal them. Jesus answered, this kind of sickness can only be healed through fasting and prayer. So fasting is also medicine for the body. It helps to keep your body functioning properly. I am 52 and I have lived this way every since I was 12. I plan on living well into my 100's looking and feeling good. You can not be a lover of food.

Actually, if you read the context of that verse Jesus wasn't saying that the demon comes out by fasting and prayer because it's the belief system. Fasting and prayer was to rid them of the doubt not the sickness. Sickness bows it's knee to the name of Jesus. 😉

Intermittent Fasting really works when you take it seriously. I try to do the 16-8 (done with supper at 5 pm and breakfast at 9am). The hardest part for us is to have dinner ready by 4:30pm. :(

I've been on intermittent fasting since a year I've lost some weight it's just not possible for me to follow a strict diet I follow it for a few days and I leave it everytime I took a dietician consultation it didn't work by doing intermittent fasting you can eat 3 times a day and you can eat whatever you want the important thing is you should maintain the 8 hour eating window once you are used to it you don't feel hungry and you don't have to spend a single penny for the dietician I recommend it to everyone 😃❤

Ever since I gave my life to Christ I lost 50 lbs . I just started to see how I was treating my body which is the body of Christ and since he filled me with the Holy Spirit I realized I had a eating disorder by using food as a emotional friend . Also the fact gluttony is a sin I never liked breakfast, I felt ok just eating one meal a day . I stopped eating after 7 because it’s bad to sleep with a full stomach . I realized it’s def discipline . It was easier said then done, we can lose the weight but if we do it alone that’s when we gain the weight back . I tried it all . I finally unlocked the secret and it’s Jesus will always be Jesus he will change your heart and help you with your struggles.

I dropped 20 pounds doing this which seemed impossible before. Perimenopause has been brutal for me and the weight seemed to magically stick to my thighs no matter what I did - even with a fully athletic schedule of workouts. Fasting was KEY and it was exactly as they stated in the interview - a way to crack "the code" ... not to mention I felt like a million bucks. The other thing is that during my eating window of time, I juiced and still juice, very clean healthy organic veggies, fruits , with turmeric and ginger, which brought my blood pressure down to normal in lightning speed and helped me control fibroids that developed due to hormone changes. WOW was that ever an unforeseen side benefit. The Lord Jesus Christ blesses us "when we fast" - it's simple obedience to His Word that is the key. So glad Chantel found this amazing discovery to work for her!

I am not skinny but not over weight either. I prayed about controling my flesh because I loooove sweets. I couldn't fast anymore because of adrenal fatigue. I wanted to fast for my friend who was dying and the Lord really helped i fasted from lunch to next day late morning instead of the "regular" timed fasts. Also when i did start intermittent fasting (gradually) i noticed my blood sugar did regulate and didnt affect my adrenals

I went too far. I've always been skinny and do intermittent fasting for health on the ketogenic food plan. I had to stop for a while because I'm raw vegan as well. Don't eat until 4 is the latest, no later than 6-8pm and fast until 4pm. See Markus Rothkranz. My thyroid was fine and I took thyroid medicine from my doctor and could not control my bladder. I knew and threw them in the trash. I'm trying to heal from taking Lipitor when I was 54 getting type 1 diabetes at age 55. Generic, couldn't sue.
