Alright, after a bit of digging, they didn’t kiss, they simply hugged. In both the reel and the storyboard they hugged, and it’s even more noticeable on the storyboard where N’s head is way above that of uzi’s, and if you look close enough at the unfinished animation, they still didn’t kiss, it’s just hard to see with the flame effects.
