I waited on the LORD for something so simple that I knew very well HE could do within the blink of an eye but the LORD decided to give me four beautiful years of waiting and I felt like it was forty years while I was waiting. Nothing made sense and I cried to GOD every single day knowing that it's not that HE is unable to do it HE is. I got to a point where all I could say when I was praying was "GOD, you say in your word that if I wait on YOU, YOU shall renew my strength, so please renew my strength daily", and HE did. When HE finally opened that door for me, I now look back and see that it was worth the wait. If you are waiting on GOD for anything, Keep waiting HE does not disappoint.

Yall have no idea how much this song has helped me during the past few weeks. On Thursday June 24 my grandmother went to be with the Lord. We buried her that Sunday. The night before she passed away this is the only song I would listen to. This song was on repeat for HOURS at a time. While I know she is in the midst of Jesus and giving Him praises forevermore, my heart still longs for her, to talk to her one more time. To tell her i love her one more time. If anything this song has helped me to trust more in the Lord and wait on His plan. While we prayed for her to fully recover, the Lord’s plans are much higher than ours. 3 yrs ago I had a heart attack. It was a bad one. A STEMI. I was rushed into surgery and my children were called. The doctors told them it didn't look good but they'd do all they could. Maybe think about my arrangements. I was at the hospital where I work, being prepared for surgery by my friends. My work family. They were visibly upset. I told them, I love you and I know you love me. But Jesus might take me home today. I know you'll do everything you can, but if he decides to take me home, you've gotta be good with that. I'm good with it. But if I do wake up, I'll see you then. If I don't, I'll see you on the other side. I'm well now and went right back to work and I'm restored. I had said, Father, if you want me to hang up this little uniform now, take me home. If you want me to still care for patients, heal me Its been 3 wonderful more work yrs. God always shows up at the perfect time.I never felt fear. Only peace and love. Oh there's so much more to this story and God was with me every minute. It was a journey for sure.
