THIS WAS STUNNING OH MY GOD! I love Stydia seriously. I love the way Jeff is writing them even if they aren't together right now. The beginning of Stydia was unrequited LUST not love, because Stiles didn't know all there was to know about Lydia. But then you have this great progression where Stiles and Lydia become friends, and even confidantes for each other. They say the best romances spark from friendship, and honestly they need to fall in love with the new people that are standing in front of them. Not the popular Lydia who is also freakishly smart but the Banshee, and Stiles the sarcastic dork is now the toured soul who is becoming a lil ol' detective. So honestly, if Stiles doesn't "love" Lydia right now, I truly believe that they will get there, and it will be even better than what anyone else expected

Stiles is so bent on making sure Lydia is okay. And what he said to her that night in his room is something that both touches, and bothers me. He doesn't seem to realize but any one of his friends or even his father could say the same about him. He often doesn't care if something or someone wants to kill him. He's in a lot of pain and under a lot of stress through the entirety of the series and no one notices until he is in imminent danger.
