I don't remember much of DMC1 and 2 but i remember that the original DMC3 model was lady sitting on her rocket launcher and she would cry if you try to delete and the special edition had a chibi Jester, who also cries.

I used to check out the different animations all the time back in the day. my favorite one was the delete animation for Full Metal Alchemist 2, which the icon was of Black Hayate, in which the delete animation was actually an easteregg itself from the manga, where he will be standing in surrender (which was a scene in one of the little comics at the end)
