This series only lasted 13 episodes but it ended on good terms no cliffhanger as if the series was only meant for 1 season. The series featured characters from the movies and had some notable guest stars also the plot of the series borrowed elements from all 3 Rush Hour films Thomas known as Juantou from the movies but on the series There is a gang of renegade Chinese triads known as Quantau. Lee has a brother in the movies and his father was killed by his partner but in the show Lee has a sister and there parents were killed by the Quantau. The plot of first and 2nd film was combined and altered and used as the main plot in the Pilot. In the film Carter became a cop because of his dad but in the series he became a cop because of his cousin Gerald and the women who cares for him called Grandma. The show features excellent fight scenes and non stop action plus some good looking ladies. I highly recommend Rush Hour The TV Series The TV Show took all 3 plots of the movies and that was the main focus of the series not as good as the first movie but far more entertaining and better than the second and third film. Here are a list of similarities and comparisons 1. Spa fight scene in the movie and show 2. Bar fight scene in the movie and show 3. In the movie it was Juantao a dangerous criminal in the series Quantao was a dangerous criminal organization. 4. The character of Diaz from the show was inspired by Johnson from the movie 5. The character of Gerald from the show was inspired by Luke and Mike from the movies 6. The Character of Kim from the show was inspired by Isabella and Kenji from the movies 7. In The movies Lee is played by Jackie Chan who speaks Chinese, English and French In the show Lee played by Jon Foo is Chinese and French. 8. The plot borrows story elements from all 3 movies 9. Lee is more serious on the show than on the movies 10. The show ended on good terms no cliffhangers
