Kelly, I just ran across this older video of how to cut card stock. What a great video! It was so helpful to me. I watched it twice then stopped and started it to write down all the measurements. I have noticed that all the cards I like are layered. Layering does make a huge difference in making cards. Now that I've been making cards for a little bit I understand why we layer. Thank you for helping understand.

Your video is from 3 years ago & I just saw it now! Yes, there is a difference in card stock. Years ago I tried to cut an intricate die out of some card stock from office depot. I showed my local demonstrator & she asked what card stock did I use. That’s when I discovered it makes a huge difference! It might have worked better by using some shims, however SU’s card stock is the best to use, & in my discovery with the die, SU card stock was the only one to use! SU really knows what’s the best with their products! Thanks, Kelly. Fantastic swap cards!

Great informative video. The only information I wish you included was which card-stock is best for alcohol blending. And which card-stock besides the obvious watercolor card-stock is good for water-coloring. Great Cards !!!

Hi Kelly....I loved this video - it was so informative. I am wondering if you have youtubes on your fun fold cards? I would like to make some for Christmas. I am also very interested in the double Z-fold card in the red foil....how was that made and what materials were used? Thank you.....Fran

Hi Kelly Love your videos and cards. This was a great reminder for all. I’m wondering if you ink your ink pads each day you stamp. I have onld ones and they do not seem to hold the ink that long. Thanks for your response. Merry Christmas! Jeanne Fiscus

What is the weight of the whisper white? I normally use 110# Neenah Solar White that I buy online. But I’m interested in the SU paper. Very informative video

Thanks for asking Rosy! The weight of our Whisper White is 80 lbs and we have a Whisper White Thick cardstock for card bases that is 100 lbs. The "Thick" is not the one you want to use for stamping your images - it's also porous like the Neenah White that you are using. I can't stress enough how VERY nice the SU Whisper White is to stamp on - it's amazing! Let me know if you'd like to order any - my online store is at this link: kellyacheson.stampinup.net
