I just came back from a trip to Waita. It's an absolutely wonderful experience! It's comfortable at the lodge , the beds, the hammocks, delicious food and every kind of fruit drink you could dream of and yet you feel like you are really part of the jungle while also giving back to the community. Every morning we woke up to the sound of Howler Monkeys and fell asleep to the sound of wild insects and frogs. The guides are brilliant and sweet. I loved our daily boat rides, paddleboarding and of course, the night walks into the jungle. Go with friends, go with family...just go! You'll love it there. It's a very peaceful, happy place to visit!
