This conversation is dicey quite frankly. As a man, I know how I would feel if a woman I am trying to see call it quits because I am not at a financial level she wants, but I also agree that it is paramount that people should know exactly what they can put up with. The stories you told also made it easy to see how terrible the choice of a spouse can make your life derail. The second man is a thief. I will be more careful with how to approach these things in the future so I do not end up guilt tripping my partner to stay with me.
