That song is too much of a masterpiece to even break down. Wouldn't even know where to begin on breaking down all the glorious elements

That take of learning the song to eventually realize it's a 10 is SPOT ON. With greatly written tracks they're always gonna have extra little things in them that make them so good and so special! Especially with artists like Midnight Kids who utilize nostalgia in their tracks. Nostalgia ultimately comes with time, and when it hits the track is brought to a whole new level!!

Thank you for this. I always try to pinpoint what exactly I like with a melodic dubstep song. It definitely has to be well balanced not too soft, not too bass heavy. Melody and female vocals is a must along with a great catchy drop that doesn't sound like everyone else. The second drop is where the true masterpiece lies. Awesome writeup brother from one melodic dubstep to another.

Waiting For You is already one of my favorite tracks ever but your teardown somehow gave it a whole new perspective for me, especially the small details I never even realized existed like those chimes at 13:24. At the time this song came out, my favourite artist was Trivecta, my second favourite was Last heroes, and my favourite vocalist was(and still is) RUNN, so this was basically my dream collab and it did not disappoint! My taste has changed a bit since then as I'm leaning more into heavier dubstep and I also ended up making a Beat Saber map out of this track which made me lose some of my love for it, but seeing your breakdown of it now after not listening to it for a while, some of that love has returned! Awesome vid!
