Growing up..I'm in my 70's....my mother would make hot lemonade in the winter for sore throats. I drink it now just for something different. You might try that with the lemonade you received. Great haul. Have a fun day. ❤

You get some REALLY GOOD items from your pantry! I can't even afford most of that! I'm glad I'm not the only one who eats some things cold, right out of the can. I know it's weird, but my favorite way to eat spinach is that way. My family thinks I'm crazy for even liking spinach and then even crazier for eating it the way I do. This food pantry has limits on the shelves based on your family size. Ours is a family size of 3. And this is a once a month food pantry. We are blessed with a lot. And we always ended up sharing with family and friends and even our local food blessing box in the neighborhood.

Certainly very different to food banks in the UK. You get the very basic food and you are given enough to last for 3 to 4 days. Nothing like what this lady got. Also here to access foodbanks you have to get referals from doctors, schools, health visitors for example. I find all this repugnant actually. It all seems overwhelming.

That's crazy. Yeah, this one food pantry limits are based on family size, and you can go once a month. I do think it can be a lot most months, but we always share our abundance with family and friends who may not be able to get to the food bank. 💞😊🙏🏻🎄🫂
