Keep reading the Word, continue in secret prayer, and seek to obey Him in all things, as much as you are able, and He shall direct thy paths. Wait I say upon the Lord!

What an amazing message, especially I loved the part where he says if there is no wood the fire goes out. I tend to run to a friend to complain about an injustice, a slight etc, and have fuelled the fire by not running to God and leaving it with Him. Friends cannot do anything but the Almighty can. I thank God for this man and the faithful saving of his sermons that always point us to our heavenly Father and Creator.

I have people, relatives & a friend who always assume they know more then me of where God wants me, & what God wants me to do. I am aware of untrue motives of some & zealousness of some. I can only trust God. I grieve for those who believe I think they know better then me about this life & God's leading for me. I am fully aware & fully depending on God. I am weak to not trust God, who loves me best.

In response to vince065 message, I last year was given full knowledge of my family's history I seem to know we had a very religious background but being Un-Saved , first I found out my mother was from Belize and as a rule latanios are usually catholic in this case my mom ; proof she truly believed in good deeds(works) my father father's was Scottish and my great grandmother was from Nigeria both some Christian training but never got off the ground pass Moses and the Jewish law. Now me I started having problems I never faced before moving from California to Kentucky people there are very appearance minded and very Religious on Sundays but like anywhere else. I never believed people were So angry and seeing this caused me much confusion why be nice only on Sundays and christ mas in December. Only my traveling job spared me some comfort from being there.1994 I started feeling strange about life and wondering if this was all my life was going to be until one a man( preacher) asked the right question Phillipians 4:7-9 and the Holy Spirit informed me my life Did Not match! I started reading the Bible and though I didn't understand John 1:12 happened to me and I said yes even some of the rough guys I knew said What Happened to this was my proof that God's Word Alone can do the work of Salvation without man's confusion I mean help. For weeks I simply read my Bible doing things God, s way til I was asked to come to a religious organization where counting numbers was the order of the day long as you come your saved but if you miss your not and though not a catholic meeting place the feel was false and that hurt my growth for years. In short always ask the Spirit leading to a church and if there not doing Christ work leave it alone and grow until you find a Bible church.
