Why would anyone choose Kareem Hunt over Samaje Perine when the chiefs didn't even choose Hunt over Perine?

I think at this point in his career, people view Perine as an accessory back - similarly to how he was used in Denver. Pacheco was KC’s ground and pound workhorse kinda back and I think the ETR guys assume they would want to replace that role if possible while mixing in Perine as a pass catcher.

For someone who has shaheed and worthy and ty chandler on bench… I have #1 waiver priority recommend dropping gus edwards/Ray Davis for Steele? Or Quentin Johnston? Or is it a stay away week?

Depends what you need and how deep your league is. Davis and Gus are premium handcuffs on run-first offenses, if Cook or Dobbins miss time they automatically make someone’s lineup. I would say stay away since you already have chandler on your bench. Aaron jones has a long injury history and is quite old. Chandler has already proven to be a workhorse in the past and can be a viable receiver as well. Steele is a risk reward pick up, there is a good chance the chiefs no longer have a balanced offense, as well as a chance Perine overtakes Steele since he’s a proven veteran.

What should I do with Jordan mason? The CMC owner offered me CMC for him and shaheed and I already have Achane and Bijan I have Mason in my flex and the CMC owner has been plagued with injuries and has no WR for me to upgrade with

@@TonyTheBro1 I disagree, I would hold Mason for injury insurance/bench depth. Achane is awesome and I love having him on my team this season but he's definitely a high-injury risk guy. Unloading Mason for CMC and his tendinitis issue could be trading away a potential league-winner in Mason and exposing yourself to short-term injury risk with Achane.
