We definitely need an on water comparison! These boats look very similar. I would love more opinions comparing the L Code, M Code, and OG. Specifically, I'm interested in low volume mank micro-eddies, boofs, and drops. Looking for a boat to save my ass when I'm in over my head. I've only paddled the OG and I was very impressed with maneuverability and stability. I was surprised I never really got "hung up" on rocks or eddylines in the OG. I have to get my hands on a Code next.

I heard a comment on 2ndary stability. Which is better? I have a steeze as my only creek boat right now and was considering adding the code to the quiver over the scorch. Thoughts on most well rounded quiver? Figured the code might take care of me more than steeze and scorch in shallow creeks?

That comment was in regards to the difference between scorch and code. The scorch has better secondary stability than the code.

That was my buddy Matt talking with someone about the Code and scorch the Code has really good amount of initial stability but if you get it far enough over on its edge its gone. Yes Shallow creeks the code is dam good with a high edge to take care you on big water stuff also with proper leans.

Just wondering your opinions on Waka vs Zet for performance and quality. Been looking and both seem fairly similar apart from outfitting and quality. Or that’s what I’ve picked up at least. Would love to hear your opinions

Waka has amazing design and ok outfitting and really unproven plastic ZET has more dated design feel but very well rounded boats with some of the best plastic in the world and really good outfitting in the five and cross and toros

They are very similar in size yeah I feel the OG feels slightly bigger

I'd they were to just swap those plastic grab handles for metal. I cannot.imagine how many boats they would sell. Granted I get that isnt the objective.

I actually had a phone conversion couple days ago with the Owner/Designer Of Waka kayaks I was trying to get him on the Shuttle Drive Podcast and he said he would think about it but seems highly unlikely he does almost Zero media. But You know what One of my top questions was huh?
