As much as i love most programming languages I've learnt throughout college, Javascript isn't on the list lmao It's like it has identity problems and cant decide what it's expected behavior should be lmao Not judging all the frameworks built on top of it, those tend to be amazing, same with PHP - the language isn't appealing but what people've built on top of it is often the best choice out of all other options.

@@lupsik1 not being sarcastic, but I haven't heard that since 2013. JS has come so far. every day they enhance JS. Most companies are scrapping PHP, C# and JAVA and moving to Node applications.

@@sob3ygrime Oh of course, i didnt say JS is bad, and definitely isn't even comparable to what a mess it was in its infancy. I meant that I don't enjoy writing in JS. The weak typing and sometimes imho totally not logical automatic casting was extremely annoying for me. But I like the functional appeal of it and that there's much less boilerplate code to write than in other languages (Looking at you java, thx god for lombok). idk maybe if i learnt typescript i could enjoy it more, but i dont do almost any web development(at least not client side stuff) edit : i really love the balance that python achieved, its so flexible and readible to i still kinda dislike not being explicit about types

@@lupsik1 YES, I love your response. Python is extremely powerful and I have been dying to get some extra time and get a raspberry pi and get a python node running for some fun reason idk yet. lol You seem awesome nice chatting with you cheers. Happy coding. ::)
