I'm from the niger delta region but that doesnt stop me from showin love to my hausa brothers and sisters...spread the love from north south east and west...we're all nigerians....together we stand divided we fall...we always say white people are racist against black ppl but black ppl r being racist to each other so y get mad at a whiteman who's racist...it is this weakness dat makes the westerns take advantage of us.

I also used to dislike it particularly in the early stage when it looked like a carbon copy from Bollywood BUT things have changed and now these songs are one of my favourite music genre in the whole world. I LOVE MANY OF THEM, THEY HAVE GREAT TUNES SOUNDING UNIQUE AND ORIGINAL!!!!!

To be honest, I didn't like the movie songs at first because they sounding abit Indian rather than Hausa, BUT now I've come to like quite a few of them: I've realized that the Movie songs are yet another new genre of Popular Hausa music that has emerged. There is now Pure traditional, Hip-Hop/Rap, R&B, Dance, Hiplife etc music genres, as well as these Movie tunes on the market for us to enjoy; They can ALL be called 'Wakokin Hausa' bcoz they are performed in the Hausa language by Hausa artists.
