Here in Des Moines we might get some snow, but they're forecasting over an inch of rain. More slop to deal with.

Hey, Travis we just got 11.5 inches of snow. What a way to start the spring season here in Central Maryland. Those noreasters stall in the Atlantic ocean and the warm air from the south and the wind and cold air from the north-west give us large snowfall amounts. Fortunately, we did not get the 18 inches of snow called for. It looks like spring at your house. keep up the good videos.

The old girl just needed to breathe a bit. The 4640 is a great tractor. Maybe not your most comfortable to drive, but it's a workhorse.
@jimmesc6 жыл бұрын
It was the most comfortable 40 years ago when it was new. Things have improved.
@MatthewHoag776 жыл бұрын
That's very accurate.

If you do rebuild your 630 disk I would recommend putting notched disk blades on it they cut stalks and sod better.

Is it the fuel pump that makes them rev up when they start?
@TheRestOfTheStory6 жыл бұрын
Yes
@jbmbanter6 жыл бұрын
Do the front tires wear out sooner that the rears because they are pulling at a faster speed to keep the tractor straight in the fields?
@TheRestOfTheStory6 жыл бұрын
That's true in the fact that when the MFWD is engaged the fronts are pulling but the road wear takes it toll also.
@jbmbanter6 жыл бұрын
Thanks Travis! I really enjoy your channel because it's down to earth with the information you are providing. You are teaching us the 'nuts and bolts' of farming and that's the reason I watch.

Why do you store your auger inside the shed
@nashdavis89556 жыл бұрын

@TheRestOfTheStory6 жыл бұрын
If you can store it inside over the winter to keep it out of the elements why wouldn't we.
