There is a beautiful version of this song on "The Beach Boys Live In London 1969." Just a magical feel to it, all the way through, and it has an enchanted ending. Love to hear it, and it would have been great to have been in the audience hearing it live.

The famous and never-ending Al-Jardine-lyric-flubs! It astonishes me because he's got the words in front of him.... Dear oh dear. It's kind of cute the first or second time one see's him doing this but when it's as often as I've noticed, it stops being cute and has become a bit silly. But I do feel sorry for people who share the stage with him because I know what it's like when someone on your stage messes a song up. It is not a nice feeling and is not cute, ha ha ha! Still, it's nice that this song was chosen to be performed. It's a goody! ;-)

No wonder sometimes it is hard to focus when you have Wendy Wilson on stage.

Isn’t that bass player the one that was playing guitar with BBs back in the 1980s or so?

@DanThomasMusic yep, that’s Ed Carter on bass. He was one of, if not the very first touring musician to be hired by The Beach Boys as a sideman back in 1968. Daryl and Dennis Dragon were two others who were also hired for the same purpose that year.

@@FeelFlows409 oh wow. Didn’t realise he went quite that far back. Those Al gigs look like fun - they have the looser feel of the older BB gigs (as a positive, I think)
