To clarify: there are indeed good, holy, & well-meaning commentators who are confused about this document. I'm not saying they should **all** necessarily be left aside. I can, for example, think of one right now whom I still highly respect and will continue to follow. So, when I advise definitively leaving aside certain public voices who defend & promote this document, I'm referring to the avowed "Popesplainers" (a term they happily use about themselves, so don't castigate me for doing so!) and the theologians with doctorates in theology who give lengthy rationalizations for blessing homosexual couples. **They** are the ones who have, in this & other matters, thus far proven that they will only work to seduce you to succumb to the Great Apostasy; pretending all the while that it is "fully orthodox." These are the false brethren Scripture warns us of. These are the ones we must, moving forward, having **nothing** to do with.

Everybody has a right to be blessed by God to receive the grace to amend their lives. And nobody asks a priest for a blessing if that person not feel the need to grow closer to God. Our Holy Father is so right and besides it's a Magisterial Document. And Catholics need to obey the Magisterium. Don't let yourselfs be fooled.

We have to stand strong together on this. Out of all Catholics in America 78% aren’t attending mass regularly, they don’t count as Lay Faithful and thus they shouldn’t have any input on the direction of the church. In addition to that, roughly 80% don’t believe in the real presence in the Eucharist, this means they don’t believe in the Dogmas of Catholicism and are therefore not even Catholic. It isn’t proper to attempt to change the teachings of the faith and keep the Catholic name, Francis should resign and openly convert to whatever religion he is, because it certainly isn’t Catholic and it seems to not even be Christian.

I’m a 76 year old cradle Catholic. When Francis first became pope, I strangely had an aversion to him. Then, remember when he made the comment about homosexuality (on a flight) and he said “who am l to judge”. That really hit me hard because, although his comment was cloaked in false humility, it was unbelievably arrogant. My thought was…you are no one to judge, you now stand in the person of Christ and therefore you speak as Christ speaks. Something in my soul knows …….

I did some research into the document and stumbled across an American priest who explained away why this document was “good”. Though you may be right, the prophecies ought to be fulfilled, and the man of sin must first appear, and lead many astray, even the saints (2 Thessalonians Chapter 2) before the end of this system of things. If I am not mistaken, the New Testament speaks about apostasy and the end times? Instead of being discouraged by the current state of things, some Christians have embraced Fiducia Supplicans as a frightening wake-up call to the fulfillment of Bible’s prophecies concerning the mystery of iniquity in the last days. When things look this bad, many would turn back to God for Mercy, and perhaps persecution is just around the corner for true Catholics.

Daniel, I had a child in addiction and had asked my priest to bless her as there was a moment in time where she was open to it and he turned me away and said she had to be clean. I was astounded and asked how long and he said six months. It bothered me a lot and I asked for a meeting with him. During the meeting he kind-of broke down and said he would do the blessing. I replied it was too late, her openness was gone. Do you think that I just used the wrong word and should have asked him to pray over her instead of saying “blessing”. That’s where my mind went. Goodness my daughter needed prayers at that time. (Has now been clean for over 3 years - praise the Lord!)

Yet I need to remind myself that when I stand before God at my judgment, He will not be judging me on someone else's sin(s), but on myself only.
