One of my earliest memories is my dad teaching my older sister how to play this song. She was probably 12 or 13 at the time; the guitar was too big for her arms. Me and my sister and my dad and brother and two little sisters sat in my brother's bedroom with sunlight streaming in and the laptop glowing with Ultimate Guitar Tabs, and we all sang together. I will always be grateful for that. It reminds me how much I love them.

When they played this on the pool deck, My wife and I did sort of a slow dance. She was facing away from me, and I had a single tear running down my cheek. It really was a dream to be on this boat with her and my two best friends. Meeting all of the COTF was honestly the best experience I have ever had on any vacation in my adult life. I don't think any other vacation will ever be as pleasant as this magical cruise. I felt like a kid again going to Disney World for the first time. And this song playing was the fireworks over the Disney castle.

Claudio, Not sure if you remember me, but I was a fan who ran into you a couple times at the Starbucks on the SS Neverender. I was the guy with the silver/grey Nike hat. You signed my guitar and listened to my story about playing In Keeping Secrets at my middle school talent show, which is something I have dreamed of telling you about since it happened. You didn't owe me anything. You could have had an entourage around you telling me to fuck off, but you gave me the time of day. What's more, is that you were really nice to me. Then that Thursday, I met Chondra in that same area after her café hour, and she was very friendly and kind to me as well. I have been a diehard Coheed fan since 2004, when I heard A Favor House Atlantic for the first time on Fuse. Now, after that experience, you guys have a fan for life. I have always thought your music was awesome, but when I think about how you were the kindest, least ego-inflated and most down to earth, chillest rockstar I could ever hope to meet, it makes it all the better listening to my favorite Coheed songs. I will always be in your corner from here on out, dude. Thanks again :)

This song is a favorite of my friend in 2009 with whom I realized through the years, that I like her. We lost connection since 2015 and met her again last year 2020 during the pandemic at a clinic. Seeing her again after 5 years made my heart flutter. In an instant, my feelings for her was never gone. We hang out together last year catching up with all the years in our lives. We were really good friends. As days and months go by, I realized that I love her. But it's too late, she is in love with another man. And they have been together for a few months now. I still play this song before playing any other song on my guitar. And when I do, all I think about it her and all the moments (as friends) we shared. How I'd wish I took my luck pursuing her.

This was one of the songs I listened to all the time when I was first getting together with my now-wife-of-18-years, and it still gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. I love this video, the song, the little glances Chondra and Claudio give each other and the easy automatic way she jumps in to sing along. Obviously someone will come in and tell me about the depressing overarching narrative, but it's such a beautiful song capturing such a sweet relatable moment of annoying the crap out of your sleeping partner (and the poignant, relatable feeling of being willing to kill people for them...). Idk. This song makes me so happy. I'm not even mad I couldn't go on this cruise. I'm just bubbly-happy for everyone who did. Immediate sunshine to my day.
