Wakeboarding edge control & wake jumps

As you get more comfortable wakeboarding, the first thing most people want to do is get air! Before you charge the wake, spend some time getting familiar with your edges. We call these carving drills, and they're super helpful for your progression. After you can control your edges, here is a step by step instructional for jumping wake to wake, heelside and toeside.

Key point kzbin.info/www/bejne/n5XQlZSbprljo9k Treat the wake like a trampoline. Don't try to jump off it, let the boat pull you FROM it. In snowboarding GRAVITY is your main source of ENERGY. In wakeboarding the BOAT is your main source of ENERGY + GRAVITY later.
