The Mario & Luigi games have some of my favorite soundtracks, so I was excited to cover another tune from the series! This is also my first time collaborating remotely-I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!

That track originates from an RPG. That track plays in a tourismheavy town, including the buildings inside so it also includes shops as well.

This song means indescribable amounts to me. I used to listen to it a lot after I graduated school, during the summer before college, walking up to a coffee shop near me. Thanks, I’m glad you liked it! Unfortunately, licensing is really tough since Dream Team’s OST was never officially released outside of the game, so I probably won’t be able to post it on Spotify, at least for the foreseeable future.

@@MKTVlakitu Yes, but as far as I can tell it was never released outside of Japan, so I can’t find it in any of the databases that would allow me to get a mechanical license for it. That said, I’m not an expert on the subject of licensing, so if you know of a way to get a mechanical license for this, I’m all ears!

I'm so glad you could come back for this year's competition! You've done some absolutely amazing work here, producing a smooth and refined ensemble sound, and surrounding yourself with some masterful collaborators. Absolutely fantastic solos all round. You achieve a great deal of variety with the instrumentation while keeping the rhythm section cohesive, which is not trivial to accomplish. I wonder if the shift to a slower tempo with that syncopated synth line could be emphasised with more synth elements, so that part had some more electric company? The texture you have as is is really engaging, though, I wouldn't be inclined to muck with it! Bravo on such a polished and impressive track, please hit me up if you feel like getting an EWI on any of these sort of projects in the future :)
