Waking Up with “Room Miku”: a high-tech DIY project

This video is about “Room Miku”, a virtual assistant in the form of a talking Miku Hatsune plush. I made this because I wanted to be woken up by Miku every morning! (I’ve also made “Fridge Miku” who talks to you each time you open the refridgerator: • 冷蔵庫に住んで話しかけてくる初音ミクを作ってみた )
Room Miku’s functionality is much simpler than that of other AI assistants, but I think she’s capable of supporting one’s lifestyle from an entirely different perspective. With her around, I’ll be able to wake up feeling fresher than ever!
