We could go for a hike, we could go for a bike ride, we could have a barbecue, ooh, we could sneak into David’s backyard and go swimming until he and his mate catch us and then we could play dumb and pretend like they invited us and make them feel like bad hosts and guilt trip them into making us dinner and then finally admit that we tricked them once we’re halfway through a spirited game of post-meal Smash Brothers! *Asher goes on to say that it worked last year, so why not try again* *Baabe asks him to come closer and when he does, they pull him down onto the bed with them* 1:29 - *ASHER* - [laughs] Yeah, that’s… that’s my collar, all right. *Asher says he knows how much they like to sleep in on their day off, so he snuck out of bed to make breakfast. After one of the saddest weeks of my life, having lost my mother now to her cancer on Monday, this was such a welcome cheerful audio! 🌞It's things like this, that help me get through this difficult time right now. That's why I keep saying, that Erik's creations really have such a big impact on people's lives. I'm sure, it's not just me feeling that way... 💜 While it doesn't make the grief and pain go away, this specific audio gave me precious minutes of wonderful sunny, warm and happy vibes, and while it's just fiction, I can still carry some of those emotions over into my own real life and "feed" on them for a bit. Little islands of calmth in a tumultuous sea. I even grinned at the mention of the recording Asher had done, which we got to enjoy recently in that yummy bonus audio. 😋 Oh, and I would have *loved* to see David and Milo dance! We already knew, that David had some good moves from that video, in which poor Sam got dragged onto the dancefloor and mentions, how David and Angel were slaying it. With Milo being one of my favorite characters, my head-canon can now go wild imagining him that way, too. Now I just hope, my sweetest Vincent *also* dances as well as he certainly can in *my* imagination (even though he wasn't mentioned in any way in this audio; but he's just my ultimate comfort character and thus often on my mind). 🤩 I swear, I'd sell my soul for the whole RedactedVerse to be a TV show, so we could all enjoy these stories visually, too. But then again, I doubt, that any actor could portrait the characters as well as Erik narrates them. I bet, there's at least gonna be some cute fan art, once this double-wedding happens. I can't wait for that audio, whenever it may be released! 👍
