Waking up your dahlia tubers!

Portland Dahlia Society member Mark Oldenkamp demonstrates how to encourage earlier blooms in your dahlia garden as he pots up the entries that will go into the Canby Trial Garden.
The Trial Garden is located at the Swan Island Dahlia farm in Canby. Hybridizers from all over North America send entries to be evaluated and scored by American Dahlia Society accredited judges. The garden is open for public visitation in August and September. Be sure to bring your camera!
