God? *Bless* these guys ? . . . who are loaded with steroids and a need to prove their manliness! What about the ridiculous advice coming from that idiot in Doug Erlich's corner about continuing with excruciating pain and not giving a shit about a potential surgery for his man; @12:28 Erlich says; "Something happened on me & it's like a shooting pain. . ." and he still goes back for more pain that may well result in a permanently disabling injury, which in fact he may already have. Man, these guys are stupid with no thought of their health or their future. And you, Syed, want to "God bless" these guys; who like Devon Larratt has pointed out - expect 2-3 surgeries that will put you out for up to a year at a time.

Todd made Devon work a lot harder than I expected, and I think he did enough to earn a pin in the first round and maybe even the second. I've seen those given before. A 3-1 or 3-2 to Devon would have been a fairer result. It'd be unfair to Devon to say he's lost something because the versatility of the guy is better than ever even if there's not the same horsepower there that used to be. He really can pull in any direction and there's almost no spot he can't come back from. He conjures up plans B, C and D when most don't even have a B.

@@kasparov9 the replay showed this does not happen. The refs disagree and if you think they're biased towards Devon, then this is the first WAL Devon match you've ever watched. The interaction between them is hostile every time. So, they're neutral or against him and they have the very best view and they have experience as a ref. Todd didn't complain or make this allegation. He's a mechanical engineer; he's not stopped. Or in this sport of alpha males in which Todd appears to be one himself, he is not masculine enough to speak up for himself? Is that your assertion? Todd Hutchings isn't an alpha male? More likely he is an alpha male and recognizes and respects refs and their rulings and he won't make excuses. Win in a way where there's no doubt that remains for the refs. And he knows that he didn't do that and so he would be making excuses when it was his fault and this he refuses to do . This all leads to the same conclusion, Devon wasn't pinned and he did win.

Todd and Devon both looked in prime condition and Todd went all out those first two rounds. I have to say it though, it was really disappointing seeing Devon go "under the table". That isn't his style and he even was warned about not dipping both shoulders too low, so you know that he was way down there. It was a last ditch effort that first round to not get pinned, but still unfortunate to see. The second round he did it intentionally to bleed out Todd and that was worse yet to see. Congrats to Devon. Todd, he didn't fight ya like a man.

*It's not about the King's move legitimacy but how you perform it. Don't drop under the table with your shoulders, don't have parts of your arm touch the table and don't frigging hang with your entire bodyweight and a stretched arm on your opponents biceps, which basically can't happen if you follow the first two rules. Refs just have to be more punishing in cases like Michael Todd. Didn't see Larrat doing any of these fouls here.*

@@dagan8659 wrong. Larratt's right hand is FAR better than his left right now. The simple truth is that his left is weak after the surgery. Matt Mask said it after sparring with Devon, that his left just did not felt anything like before. While Denis's left is his primary hand..he never lost a left hand match! But Devon's right still looks as good as ever, and hence should beat Denis. Fact - The sam year Brzenk absolutely owned Tsyplenkov right hand, Larratt owned Brzenk even harder, 6:0

Considering Devon's larger size compared to every other recent video on the internet since the beginning of the year, I'd expect him to be pulling Todd with a lot more ease (Jujimufu/Pound for Pound/Japan/India/Australia). Probably on the level of domination. It almost seems as if he's intentionally letting Todd put him in that position as practice. This seemed reminiscent of some of the practice pulls recorded in Australia in the Pound for Pound channel.

See the difference between how Larrat used the kings move and how Todd used it is prettty simple. Todd Had BOTH shoulders below the table which should be called a foul. Larrat kept both shoulders above the table and used it properly. He did drop his shoulder once below the table and was asked to move up and did so. Thats how you properly reff the move.
