Man I have 300$ plus rods and my favorite rod is a cheap daiwa combo rod.... with a fluger presidential (I know I know) but I cant break that rod have had it for 6 years. It makes me question myself every time I buy a rod over 60 bucks....always check the spine on a rod before you buy it....biggest reason rods break....spine is in the wrong spot compared to the guides.

You should try rooster tails they're fish killers and I've caught everything from pike to trout to bass on them. I like to toss it behind me and paddle a kayak around I'll catch fish all day long while no one else gets a bite

Love the content and seeing the pleasure you get hooking up on even the Bass bait *(blue Gill)* wondering if you have used any bug type I.E : June bug - beetle - dragon fly lures for top water lite line any species fish. I used Zebra striped crickets for slab crappie in Florida on a cane pole what a blast and mighty good eating the crappie were.

In-Line Spinners are good lures to keep in your bag.They're like regular spinners, but a lot smaller. They're also used for trout. But when the bite is tough and you need to down size, they can be pretty great. Just like smaller jerkbaits, grubs, etc.
